1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Usage Policy, and Commercial Usage Agreement (“Agreement”) govern access to and usage of the ExcelBills platform, applications, websites, APIs, mobile applications, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), offline systems, AI systems, integrations, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform” or “Services”).

4. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using ExcelBills, the User:

• confirms legal authority to enter into this Agreement
• confirms that all registration information is accurate
• accepts all future updates to these Terms

• agrees to platform operational policies

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

5. ELIGIBILITY

The User must:

• be legally capable of entering contracts

• comply with taxation, accounting, labor, trade, and commercial laws

ExcelBills reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these conditions.

6. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY

The User is solely responsible for:

• account security
• passwords
• device access
• employee access
• cashier access
• user permissions
• operational actions under the account

The User must:

• maintain secure passwords
• enable recommended security controls
• restrict unauthorized access
• notify ExcelBills immediately regarding suspicious access

ExcelBills is not liable for unauthorized account access caused by:

• weak passwords
• device compromise
• credential sharing
• phishing
• malware
• negligence

7. BUSINESS DATA OWNERSHIP

The User retains ownership of:

• invoices
• inventory
• customer records
• operational records
• uploaded business content
• reports
• accounting data
• media uploads

ExcelBills does NOT claim ownership over customer business data.

However, the User grants ExcelBills a limited operational license to:

• process data
• synchronize data
• back up data
• improve platform stability
• provide AI assistance
• generate analytics
• maintain operational integrity
• detect fraud and abuse

This license exists solely for platform operation and improvement.

8. DATA SECURITY

ExcelBills uses commercially reasonable measures to protect customer data, including:

However:

• no system is 100% secure

• customer-side negligence
• unauthorized device usage
• third-party hardware failures

9. DATA BACKUPS & RECOVERY

Users are strongly encouraged to:

But Users remain ultimately responsible for:

Users remain fully responsible for:

• financial decisions
• stock decisions
• tax decisions

• remain tenant-isolated
• remain audit-aware
• preserve operational integrity

12. OFFLINE & PWA OPERATIONS

ExcelBills may provide:

Users acknowledge:

• offline systems may temporarily delay synchronization
• conflict resolution may occur during reconnect
• device storage limitations may impact offline functionality

Users remain responsible for:

13. HARDWARE & DEVICE LIMITATIONS

ExcelBills may support:

• thermal printers

• Android tablets
• Bluetooth devices

ExcelBills does not guarantee compatibility with:

• unsupported browsers

14. PAYMENT, SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING

Unless explicitly authorized in writing:

18. OWNERSHIP & PROVENANCE

ExcelBills contains embedded ownership provenance systems including:

• build fingerprints

• architectural provenance
• operational signatures
• authorship continuity systems
• immutable deployment manifests
• audit provenance

Unauthorized copying or misuse may be traceable through operational provenance systems.

19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

ExcelBills is not responsible for:

from claims arising out of:

• misuse of the platform
• legal violations
• tax violations
• intellectual property violations
• fraudulent activities

26. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

ExcelBills may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• non-payment
• abuse
• fraud
• security risks
• illegal activity
• repeated policy violations

Termination may result in:

• restricted access
• feature disablement
• service discontinuation

Users should export required data before cancellation.

27. EXPORT CONTROLS & RESTRICTED USE

28. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of India.

ExcelBills shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by:

• war
• labor disputes
• cyber attacks
• infrastructure outages

• power failures

30. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
